COVID-19 (coronavirus): how we’re responding 

The safety of our community, customers and staff is our top priority. 

Our staff monitor and respond to the global COVID-19 pandemic daily. 

It has had a major impact on our services and events, but we continue to operate essential services like waste collection uninterrupted. 

We take advice on all public health matters from the State and Federal Government and comply with official restrictions as announced by relevant parties.

We have also adopted our own precautionary measures to protect members of the community, our volunteers and our staff. We have closed a number of services and facilities which are listed below.

Our staff are following the latest public health and hygiene advice from state and federal governments.

The COVID-19 situation is presenting all of us with serious challenges, especially our businesses

A range of support measures have been put in place for businesses and individuals by the Federal and State Governments and businesses are encouraged to visit the following sites

We have a Hardship and Financial Assistance Policy which we are reviewing.

Any amendments to this require endorsement by councillors and we're aiming to present a revised policy to the 8 April meeting.
