World Environment Day - Braidwood

Clean Up Gillamatong Creek

• Date: Sunday June 4, 2023
• Time: 10am-12pm
• Location: Bicentennial Park, McKellar Street, Braidwood

Join us as we clean up along Gillamatong Creek! We will start from Bicentennial Park and spread out to fill up some bags of litter. Come along and help keep our natural areas clean. Our sustainability staff will be on hand to lead the day, and to talk about our natural areas and local sustainability initiatives.

Please wear enclosed shoes, long sleeves, and sun protection

Family Movie Afternoon

• Date: Sunday June 4, 2023
• Time: 1pm-3pm
• Location: Braidwood National Theatre, 100 Wallace Street, Braidwood.

Head over to the Braidwood National Theatre to catch a fantastic family movie. We will be showing The Lorax, a children’s movie with strong sustainability themes. The movie is free, and finger food and soft drinks will be available to enjoy throughout the film.
