Guided Nature Walk around the Queanbeyan River

• Date: Sunday June 4, 2023
• Time: 10am-12pm
• Meeting Location: Riverside Cemetery, end of Erin Street Queanbeyan.

Join Queanbeyan Landcare and QPRC for an educational walk around the Queanbeyan River. Learn about native plants and animals, local urban ecosystems, and discover some solutions to plastic pollution. If you’re lucky, we might see a platypus!

Please wear enclosed shoes and sun protection.

Environmental Education Expo at The Hive

• Date: Monday, June 5, 2023
• Time: 5pm-8pm
• Location: The Queanbeyan Hive, 274 Crawford Street, Queanbeyan.

We are partnering with the Queanbeyan Hive to host an Environmental Education Expo. Stallholders will host educational sessions, Q&As, presentations, hands-on activities and displays. Entry to the expo is free, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.

The expo will feature an art exhibition by Dennis Mortimer, with stalls and presentations hosted by:
