The Queanbeyan Animal Management Facility will only be open 3-5pm from 22 - 26 April due to staff availability.
The pound is also closed on Anzac Day (25 April).
We will return to our usual opening hours on Saturday. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Toilet facilities and water tank at Araluen campground

This project was made possible through the Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Package, co-funded by the NSW and Australian Governments.

After working closely with the Araluen community a 100,000lt water tank has been filled (which will be filled from a bore) and a solar pump. The tank will be fitted with two valves, one for campers to access water and to support the new toilets, the other will provide the Araluen Fire Brigade with back up water in case of an emergency.

The amenities block has solar lighting. A new solar BBQ has been installed to replace the old wood burning fire place along with new picnic tables.
