What's happened so far

A contamination report has been completed and the plan for decontamination is being established.

An artist's sketch has been prepared. The current proposal is for landscaped pedestrian access from Wallace Street to a public car park at the back of the site, including recognising the historical use of the site.

We have received feedback from the community on the proposal, including on heritage items that should be kept, which sections of the existing structure should be retained, whether a Visitors' Information Hub should be included in this space, and any particular design elements that should be included.

What's next

Concept designs will be prepared based on community feedback.
