Council to host community meetings in October

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council will be holding three community meetings in October 2018 to update residents on a range of matters.
The meetings will provide an update on the QPRC Waste Strategy, Draft Integrated Transport Strategy, Companion Animals, Queanbeyan CBD Master Plan and a range of other major projects.
“These meetings are very informative and quite relaxed, with residents able to submit items to be included on the agenda and also ask questions throughout the meeting,” Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tim Overall said.
The meetings will run from 6-8pm. Details are as follows:
- Tuesday 16 October – Braidwood Old Library (Park Lane)
- Thursday 18 October - Queanbeyan Council Chambers (253 Crawford Street, Queanbeyan)
- Tuesday 30 October - Bungendore Council Chambers (10 Majara Street, Bungendore)
