EOIs for Food Truck Friday now open

Council is seeking expressions of interest from local food vendors to participate in Food Truck Friday at Queen Elizabeth II Park from October-December.

Running over 10 weeks from 19 October through to 21 December, Council is looking for food vendors to participate on Friday evenings between 5pm and 9pm. Council is seeking a variety of food and beverage vendors to satisfy any palette.

“Queen Elizabeth II Park is such a great space and it will be a beautiful place to gather on a Friday evening in spring and summer. We’d love to get some delicious food vendors to set up shop and create a great atmosphere every Friday,” Program Coordinator Place Management Tracey Lamont said.

Council is also seeking entertainment in the form of buskers and performers to come along to provide some atmosphere.

Successful food vendors will have public liability insurance to the value of $20 million, all other food vendor regulatory requirements, a commitment to the 10 week period, and complete payment up front ($30 per week). Expressions of interest close Wednesday 26 September.
