Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council invites members of the community to join together and mark National Reconciliation Week by walking in unity together through Queanbeyan.

2018 marks the 10th Anniversary of the National Apology to Australia's First Peoples – a powerful and important moment in our nation's history that must never be forgotten.

Expect a sea of colour as students from all of our local schools proudly represent their school and community on this important day. In previous years over 1,000 people have participated in the walk.  This year numbers are hoped to grow even further with support from Queanbeyan businesses, and parents and grandparents joining their children on the walk.

All are welcome to join the walk and celebrate the history and future of Indigenous Australians in our region.
