The 12th year of the QPRC Arts Trail and Open Studio Event is almost here. This is a highly anticipated regional arts event that continues to grow from year to year. This year, the event is so large that it will be held over two weekends to accommodate all the studios, galleries and workshops spread throughout the Queanbeyan-Palerang region.

Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 October
10am – 4pm both days

Braidwood region
Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 November

“Over 50 artists will participate by opening up their studios and workshops to visitors, whilst others have their artwork on exhibition in the region’s galleries and creative spaces,” Team Leader Arts, Culture and Museums, Georgina Perri said.

“Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and talk with artists in their creative spaces, and experience a diverse range of creative methods and techniques including ceramics, woodwork, painting, glass blowing, textiles, botanical drawing and much more. The studios are spread right throughout the greater Queanbeyan-Palerang region including Queanbeyan, Bungendore, Braidwood, Bywong, Captains Flat, Fernleigh Park, Primrose Valley and surrounds.”

Visitors are encouraged to create their own unique arts trail and select the artists that interest them over the two weekends.
