The 10th annual QPRC Regional Art Awards were announced last night at The Q in Queanbeyan to a large number of excited artists and art lovers. This year’s prize pool was over $5000 in cash and prizes; including the inaugural QPRC Exhibition Award valued at $1,000.
This year’s judges, David Maclaren from the Bungendore Wood Works Gallery and Claire Primrose from Queanbeyan’s Form Studio and Gallery, had a difficult job determining the winners from over forty art works from the region’s artists; so much so, that the top award was shared for the first time ever.
