Restrictions have eased for those who are fully vaccinated. The stay-at-home orders are still in place for those with a single vaccination. They will ease further after the state hits an average 80% double vaccinated. This is expected to be 18 October. On 1 December most restrictions will be lifted for everyone, regardless of their vaccination status.

In the next stage of the Queanbeyan Civic and Cultural Precinct a Tower Crane will move onto site. We want to hear from young people across the region before Christmas to find the crane a name.
The colouring in is available on our website and children under 12 years of age are encouraged to submit their colouring in and name the crane.
“The crane will be with us for quite some time and we are looking forward to seeing the names that our young people come up with,” Mayor Tim Overall said.
The colouring in sheet has been sent to schools all around Queanbeyan-Palerang and we hope to see lots of responses.
The winning entry will have an opportunity to visit the site (COVID restrictions permitting) as well as receiving a family pass to a children’s show at The Q for any of our Q the Kids season shows in 2022.
Anyone entering the competition can submit their colouring in before 5pm 23 December by:
