We seek to re-home all animals at the Animal Management Facility that are not claimed by their owners, from sheep to kittens. All dogs and cats purchased from us are required to be lifetime registered.
We are currently not accepting cash payments and are only accepting payment by card.
Our normal opening hours are Monday - Friday 8.30-10.30am and 3-5pm and Saturday 1-5pm. If you are unable to visit during the above times please call us on 6285 6269 to make an appointment.
For emergencies, such as dog attacks, call 1300 735 025.
Cost
When you purchase them they will either be desexed or the cost of desexing will be included in the fee. You will receive a voucher to take to a local vet to have the animal operated on. All animals adopted from our animal management facility receive free lifetime registration.

Find a lost pet
If your pet has gone missing, you can view animals picked-up by our rangers online below or visit the animal management facility, located on Ellerton Drive and Old Sydney Road, Queanbeyan. You can also place your lost pet on the Canberra Lost Pet Database facebook page.
Please be aware that pet owners have a range of responsibilities under the Companion Animals Act NSW 1998. There are also a number of factors to consider when thinking about getting a pet.

Meet Mary!
Mary came into the facility heavily pregnant back in September 2023 and not long after gave birth to a litter of beautiful kittens which have all since found their forever homes.
Mary is a bit picky but once she finds her person, she becomes very cuddly and smoochy.
Since coming into care Mary has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Meet our tabby duo!
These gorgeous boys made their way to the facility from one of the local veterinary clinics and have become a bonded pair after being in care together for roughly 4 months.
Both of them can be nervous, but once comfortable, they become very snuggly with their person.
These boys are approximately 2 years of age, toilet trained, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Marge came into the facility with a litter of kittens back in November 2023.
Once her kittens found their homes, Marge came out of her shell and now spends her days sitting in the office and sleeping on all of the staff members laps.
Marge would do best as an only cat and hasn't been around dogs previously.
Before leaving, Marge will be desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Stanley was a little nervous when he first came into care but has since come out of his shell and loves to cuddle with all of the staff at the facility.
He is also a talker and will often scream out for attention.
Stanley is nervous around other cats and would do best as an only pet, in a quieter household.
