Tree in Bungendore that has been yarn bombed

This Saturday 14 June is Worldwide Knit in Public Day! Join us in Bungendore where trees will be adorned with ornaments and handcrafted 'Tree Jumpers' created by various local community groups.

Stroll down Ellendon street and enjoy the themed Yarn bombing projects and trees wrapped in their colourful jumpers.

Enjoy the Devonshire Tea at the CWA Rooms (40 Gibraltar St) 9am–2pm and the mega yarn sale.

Visit Phil’s Opshop and be part of their Worldwide Knit in Public Day. See their decorated tree of flowers and hearts (Butmaroo St).

QPRC’s Placemaking and Community teams would like to pass on a massive ‘Thank you!’ to all the community members and groups that got involved in this project.
