Council has confirmed the closure of a number of non-essential facilities and a restriction of some services to assist in minimising the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

We have a burst water main on Irene Avenue, Queanbeyan. Water will be turned off in Irene Avenue and Mark Place while our crews undertake repairs. We aim to have the repairs completed by around 2pm.
We apologise for issues with our systems which caused a delay to the issuing of water notices for a number of residents this quarter. Please note that the due date for payment has been extended to 24 April.

Three weeks after heavy rainfall in the region allowed Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council to slightly relax water restrictions in Braidwood from level 4 to level 3, Council has today announced that formal restrictions will be fully lifted from Friday 6 March 2020.

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is inviting bushfire-affected residents from Braidwood and surrounds to a community meeting in Braidwood on Sunday 8 March. Impacted property owners and businesses will be provided with an update on bushfire recovery efforts to date as well as hear from a range of agencies about the various support measures that are in place.
The development application for the Queanbeyan Civic and Cultural Precinct (QCCP) has been lodged and is on notification until 17 March.
