Baby Bounce
Come along to our weekly Baby Bounce session for babies aged between 0-18 months. This lap sit program is designed to be enjoyed by a child with a participating parent or caregiver. Baby Bounce is held on Friday mornings from 10am-11am at Queanbeyan Library during school terms.
Toddler Time
Toddler Time sessions are for children aged 18 months-3 years and include a mix of stories, music, movement and craft activities. Toddler Time is held on Monday mornings from 10am-11am at Queanbeyan Library during school terms.
Storytime
Storytime sessions are for children aged 3-5 years and include stories, music, activities and craft. Storytime is held on Wednesday mornings from 10am-11am at Queanbeyan and Braidwood Libraries, and on Thursday mornings from 11am-12pm at Bungendore Library.
STEAM Club
STEAM Club is for children aged 8+ and are all about science, technology, engineering, arts and maths. The sessions focus on experimenting, designing, building and playing. STEAM Club is held on the last Thursday of the month at 3:30pm-4:30pm at Queanbeyan Library and on the first Wednesday of the month at 3:30-4:30pm at Braidwood Library.
School Holiday programs
Looking for something to do during the school holidays? Why not visit the library and get creative. Fun activity sessions are held each school holidays for children of all ages.
Family Day Care Scheme
QPRC has been operating a Family Day Care scheme in the local community for almost 40 years. It offers small group settings with mixed age groups, where children are cared for by qualified educators. We have over 30 educators operating throughout Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra, Googong and Wamboin. Our Coordination Unit is based in Queanbeyan. There are a range of care types available.
