1. Artist and Facilitator Expressions of Interest

We are looking for a professional artist to work with local young people to design and paint a mural inside the Moore Park skate bowl in Queanbeyan. This project is being funded by the NSW Government's Youth Opportunities Grant Scheme.

The budget is up to $15,000. The project brief is available here(PDF, 838KB).

2. Youth Committee 

The QPRC Youth Committee aims to encourage participation in civic life, foster an interest in grass roots community issues. Members of the committee will be actively involved in shaping the future of QPRC by:

  • Providing informed advice to Council on the development, implementation, monitoring and review of policy, strategies and plans that affect young people.
  • Advising QPRC about important youth issues in the local area.
  • Developing local youth-led initiatives and projects that address identified needs.

3. Young Parent's Group

A group for young or expecting parents aged 25 and under. Sessions are held at various locations every Wednesday 12-1.30pm during school terms.
