Free program for young people aged between 12 and 17 years old.
Come hang out at AXIS and connect with new friends! Whether you're looking to relax, get creative, or just have a good time, this program is the perfect space for young people to chill and socialize.
The sessions will include activities like board games, cooking, arts and craft, sports games, and more. This program is run in collaboration with Headspace.
Participants are welcome to attend any time between 4 and 5:30 PM. Once participants leave the centre, they are no longer under supervision of council staff.
When: Tuesdays at 4 PM – 5:30 PM (during school term, starting on 10 January)
Where: Axis Centre at Queanbeyan Park

The QPRC Youth Committee aims to encourage participation in civic life, foster an interest in grass roots community issues. Members of the committee will be actively involved in shaping the future of QPRC by:
- Providing informed advice to Council on the development, implementation, monitoring and review of policy, strategies and plans that affect young people.
- Advising QPRC about important youth issues in the local area.
- Developing local youth-led initiatives and projects that address identified needs.
