Council Business

Access to Information

We aim to provide Council information in an open and accountable way. You will find our disclosure logs, delegation register, pecuniary interest disclosures, Council land register and agency information guide on this page. Budgets and Planning

We take a long-term view to our planning and involve the community along the way. You can view the Community Strategic Plan (10 years), Delivery Program (four years), Resourcing Strategy and the current year's Operational Plan, Fees and Charges, Revenue Policy, along with our Annual Reports and Financial Statements.

Canberra Region Joint Organisation (CRJO)

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is a member of the Canberra Region Joint Organisation (CRJO). The CRJO provides a forum for councils, State agencies and other stakeholders to work together at a regional level to identify shared priorities.

Doing Business With Us

We spend money on a range of things from roads, footpaths, recreational and community facilities, parks and tress and much more. When deciding how to best spend public money, we take into account a range of factors.

HSEQ Certification

We aim to provide quality products and services and have been internationally certified in the areas of Health, Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) for the delivery of Infrastructure Services including transport, water, sewer, waste, facilities, and asset management for QPRC.

Public involvement at Council meetings

Members of the public are able to speak at our Ordinary and Planning and Strategy meetings during the public forum about items on the agenda. You can find information here about how to make a presentation or ask a question about any Council-related business here.

Public Notices

Here you will find public notices, temporary road closures, proposed road names and the latest copy of Council's For Your Information advertisement which is published fortnightly in the Regional Independent.

Rates and water payments

Information for ratepayers including how to pay your rates and water charges. You can update your contact details, change your name, register to receive your rates notices electronically, cancel a direct debit, pensioner concessions and details regarding rate hardship, including drought relief.
