The main construction of the pavilion was completed in November 2024.
The project was funded via a $100,000 contribution from Council, $18,000 raised by the Friends of the Showground and Jerrabomberra Rotary and a $600,000 contribution from the NSW Government's Stronger Country Community Fund.
Final approvals for the construction were received in June 2023. The contractors Rice Construction began work on the site mid August 2023. The main construction and exterior works were completed in May 2024, with further internal work completed in November 2024. This included toilet facilities, lighting, electrical and water and sewer services. An additional $250,000 was allocated for this work.
In March 2025, a concrete slab was poured on the Cameron Road end of the pavilion. The final works include landscaping around the pavilion and is expected to be completed in April 2025.
