Update - road closure begins 4 June

The closure of Little River Road began on 4 June.

We delayed the closure from the planned start date of 19 May to allow us to consider advice from the ecologist survey that was done on Friday 16 May. The ecologist has provided advice that will allow the project to proceed, with implementation of ecological mitigation measures, particularly during bridge demolition and vegetation removal or pruning.

Detour

The detour for the Tantulean Creek Bridge Replacement is via Northangera Road and the Kings Highway. The detour route is estimate to add around 12 minutes to travel time. The detour was in place from 4 June, weather permitting - and will be in place for approximately 12 weeks.

Temporary road signs have been installed at key locations to inform road users.
