Council has been working closely with the developers of Googong (Googong Township Pty Ltd – GTPL) to review the operation of streets around the recently opened Googong North Village Centre.

As a result of this review some modifications will be made to Aprasia Avenue and Caragh Avenue to ensure that larger vehicles such as school buses and delivery vehicles will be able to safely and conveniently negotiate the intersection with as little disruption to other road users as possible.

Parking will be restricted to the eastern side of Caragh Avenue and to the southern side of Aprasia Avenue and there will be three sections of road widening as shown in the following plans.

Works are anticipated to commence on Monday 12 November 2018. During this period, residents are encouraged to seek alternate routes where possible.
