Easter Opening hours

Offices, pools and libraries

Our offices and libraries are closed from Friday 3 to Monday 6 April for the Easter long weekend and Saturday 25 April and Monday 27 April for Anzac Day.

Pools

The entire Queanbeyan Pool venue will be closed over Easter, from Friday 3 April to Sunday 5 April, but will be open public holiday hours 10am-4pm on Monday 6 April 2026.

The indoor pool will be open public holiday hours on Monday 27 April.

Animal management facility

Closed from Friday 3 to Monday 6 April for the Easter long weekend and Saturday 25 April for Anzac Day. For emergencies please call 1300 735 025.

Waste transfer stations

Our waste transfer stations are also closed on Good Friday (3 April) but otherwise have normal hours.

Rubbish collection

If your bin is normally collected on a Friday they will be collected on Saturday 4 April instead. Please make sure you put your bins out the night before in these areas:

  • Majors Creek and Araluen
  • parts of Queanbeyan

Rusten House Art Centre

Closed Friday 3 and Saturday 4 April 2026.

The Q

Closed Friday 3 to Monday 6 April 2026, and Anzac Day 25 April 2026.
