Building Commission NSW - Community Drop-In Sessions
Are you worried about defects in your new home? Do you know if your builder is licensed and what insurance they need? And, if you’re a tradie, are you uncertain about the different licenses and regulations required by NSW and the ACT?
Discover answers to these and other building-related issues at the community drop-in sessions hosted by Building Commission NSW in Queanbeyan from 15-17 September.
A team of specialists with experience across licensing, compliance, complaints, investigations and enforcement and more will be available to answer all of your questions.
While in the area, staff will also meet with local councils, the ACT Government, along with TAFE students and faculty as part of the Commission’s commitment to ensure quality homes in regional NSW.
Members and non-members of the industry are also invited to meet with NSW Building Commissioner James Sherrard and the team on Tuesday evening at a special Master Builders Association NSW event at the Queanbeyan Kangaroo Club. Find more information about the event here.
Building Commission NSW is the regulator of the building and construction industry in NSW and is tasked with ensuring the quality of residential buildings.
