An alternative is to use the free Self Haul Vouchers that are available on the QPRC waste info app or via this website page.
We are currently in negotiations for a new contractor and new dates will become available once this has been finalised.

Cooma Road Stony Creek Bridge Repairs

Following the December 2023 flood event, Council received funding to repair the damaged Stony Creek Bridge on Cooma Road. Stony Creek Bridge is between Jerrabattgulla Road and Kain Cross Road. Emergency repair works were made initially in 2024, and our contractor is returning to complete the remainder of the scope of works.

Repairs are to the southern abutment and wingwall and northern wing wall and rock scour protection.

Work is expected to start on 21 January 2026, working Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm.

Please follow the directions of signage and traffic control during the work.
