Playgroup meets at Letchworth Community Centre, 28 Miller St, Queanbeyan each second Thursday from 10.00am-12.00pm during school terms. Every other Thursday is spent out and about adventuring on excursions! More information is available by calling our Community Program Facilitator, Imogen, on 6285 6365.

What is the program

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council coordinates a Playgroup program for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children aged 0-5 years. Helping children to get a good start at school is very important, Playgroup provides an environment where children can socialise, enjoy each other’s company and make friends.

Children will participate in a range of structured and fun activities alongside staff.

  • emergency services
  • health services and clinics
  • cultural awareness
  • environmental and recycling
