Our three customer service offices will be closed next Tuesday 21 May for staff training. Queanbeyan and Bungendore will be closed from 10.30am - 2pm and Braidwood from 10am - 3pm. You will still be able to reach us by telephone on 1300 735 025.

Sewer smoke testing - southern Bungendore

Contractors are doing sewer smoke testing in the southern part of Bungendore (King Street to Burrows Lane) from 29 April-17 May. This involves personnel entering private property, but not into residences or businesses. Testing is done using odourless, non-toxic products.

The construction of new 13.6m long, 2 x lane concrete bridge with pedestrian pathway across Halfway Creek, Bungendore started in the week of 21 August 2023.

This bridge will provide access to the Bungendore Sports Hub and it is expected to be completed by the end of June 2024.

The following has been completed:

bridge deck
kerb and guttering are in place
road sealing has been completed
guardrail and handrail have been installed
approximately 40 trees planted as part of the "Planting Trees for The Queen's Jubilee Program"
