  • Council heard from six members of the public who made presentations about various matters on the agenda
  • Council supported a variation to the requirements of the Braidwood DCP 2006 by dispensing with provision of on-site parking for DA at 186 Wallace Street, Braidwood and provided conditional approval
  • Council granted conditional approval for a development application for a community facility (respite care centre) at 16 Agnes Avenue, Crestwood and will seek funding for park embellishment and a new basketball court as previously endorsed in 2020
  • Council granted approval to a modification application at 257 Crawford Street, Queanbeyan
  • Council noted outcomes of public exhibition of Planning Proposal for South Jerrabomberra and adopted the planning proposal
  • Council will place the draft QPRC Affordable Housing Strategy and its background material on public exhibition at https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au until the end of January 2023
  • Council will place the Queanbeyan Showground Cultural and Heritage Interpretation Plan on public exhibition at https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au until the end of January 2023
  • Council endorsed the name 'Scentral Bark' for the new dog park at Googong Neighbourhood 2
  • Council objected to the transfer of Brick Kiln Lane at Bendoura from Crown Lands to Council management because it does not meet the transfer criteria in the Crown Road Management Policy
  • Council will place the draft Bin Inspection and Contamination Policy on public exhibition at https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au
  • Council agreed to establish a Section 355 Committee to manage the land referred to as Braidwood Common
  • Council endorsed the Annual Report 2021-22
  • Council will place the Corporate Sponsorship, Footpath Management, and Cat Containment Area policies on public exhibition at https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au
  • Council endorsed a MoU for the use of 88 Wallace Street, Braidwood by the Braidwood Heritage Museum for 3 months, with option to extend
  • Council authorised the Mayor to execute the ACT-QPRC Statement of Intent and Work Plan 2022
  • Council received September 2022 Quarterly Budget Review Statement and adopted budget variations, noting the opinion of the Responsible Accounting Officer about Council’s financial performance and projected year result is unsatisfactory
  • Council authorised use of Common Seal for execution of loan agreement with ANZ Bank
  • Council received investment report for October 2022, noting return of $1,241,816
  • Council endorsed the draft Long Term Financial Plan 2022-32 for public exhibition. Council endorses 3 proposed Special Rate Variation scenarios for community consultation and will notify IPART of intention to apply for SRV.   • Council received report on community consultation for replacement of Captains Flat playground
  • Council received report on community consultation for the Nerriga Main Street upgrade
  • Council noted report on the finalisation of the Power Purchase Agreement for the supply of renewable energy
  • Council noted report on Councillor workshops between 3-16 November, including SRV Communications Strategy, LTFP Deferral Options, SRV Scenarios LTFP, QPRC Bin Inspection and Contamination Policy, Queanbeyan CBD Properties, Cat Containment Policy
  • Council noted minutes of the QPRC Sports Council Meeting held on 8 August 2022
  • Council noted minutes of Disability Access Committee held on 1 November 2022
  • In closed session, Council endorsed appointment of Daryl Crapp, Margaret Sewell, Felicity Sturgis, Carolyn Larcombe, Tony Hill and Tom Baker as members to the QPRC Environment and Sustainability Advisory Committee
