Festive fun at the Christmas in July Market

Celebrate the silly season early with Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council’s 2023 Christmas in July Market!

From 9am to 3pm on Saturday 8 July the Queanbeyan Showground will come alive with festive fun and holiday cheer.

‘We’re very excited to be holding our much-loved Christmas in July market again for 2023,’ said Mayor Kenrick Winchester.

‘We’ve got over 100 market stalls coming to the Queanbeyan Showground with plenty of treats and goodies to get your hands on. There will also be entertainment starting on the main stage from 10am.

‘These markets are always guaranteed to be a fun day out so make sure to get your friends and family together and come and support some fantastic local businesses.’

There will be lots on offer to keep the kids entertained with a dedicated kids’ play area complete with an outdoor obstacle course, jumping castle, rides and much more.

As always, there will be plenty of competitions to get involved in that could put you in the running to win some great prizes.

The popular Christmas Caroloke competition is sure to get everybody in the Christmas spirit as individuals and groups battle it out singing their favourite carols.

You can show off your creativity with our fashion competition, Christmas wrapping competition, and cake and gingerbread house decoration competitions too.
