Braidwood Landfill remediation This project will see works on the final rehabilitation of the former Braidwood landfill. The Braidwood landfill was closed in late 2019 when the Resource Recovery Facility opened.
Braidwood Major Overland Flow Investigation After public exhibition period of the Braidwood Floodplain Risk Management Study & Plan, it became apparent that existing development in Braidwood (including numerous main street retail outlets) is impacted by major overland flow during intense short-duration storm events.
Briars Sharrow Bridge upgrade We are constructing a new bridge at Briars Sharrow. The new bridge will be 92m long and 9m wide and will be constructed 4m higher than the existing crossing.
Bungendore Car Park Amenity Improvements - Public Toilets We are installing a new public toilet block in the Bungendore car park. The works will include connecting to the sewer main and modification of existing electrical infrastructure. This will support the facility and future additions of EV chargers.
Bungendore Floodplain Risk Management Plan - Implementation We engaged a contractor to carry out implementation measure 1 works which were completed in December 2020. Measures 2 and 3 will be completed at a later date.
