Cooma Road misaligned culvert replacement

There is a culvert on Cooma Road, approximately midway between Jerrabattgulla Road and Harts Road, that is misaligned and requires replacement.

Assistance has been provided through the jointly funded Commonwealth-state Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) for the bedding material and pavement. Council has funded the remaining costs to replace this structure.

During construction, a sidetrack and traffic management will be in place. The road will remain open.

Work hours will be Monday to Sunday, 7am-5pm from 19 January until the project is completed.

Update 5 March

Cooma Road - the first half of the culvert ha been placed on the foundation. Work to place the second half will begin shortly.

Update 6 February

Contractors have been preparing for a concrete pour of a base slab over the weekend 7-8 February. Once cured, box culverts will be placed and concrete for the surrounding formwork will be poured.
