Heritage Grants Now Open

Council is proud to offer our Local Heritage Places Grants again this year with the support of the NSW Heritage Office.

These dollar-for-dollar grants help residents complete works to preserve their heritage buildings – whether it’s minor upgrades, a fresh coat of paint, or something bigger!

Last year we were able to support four applicants with their projects on heritage properties.

‘This grant program allows us to support people in our community who are working hard to preserve some fantastic examples of heritage homes in our region,’ said Mayor Kenrick Winchester.

‘Lots of different work can be eligible under this program so take the time to read the grant guidelines before you crack into your next project,’ he added.

Applications for the 2023-24 round are open until Monday 30 October and can be completed online. Make sure to read the grant guidelines and apply at www.qprc.nsw.gov.au/grants
