With poor weather forecast for Tuesday 2 June indicating a high likelihood of rain, we will be gathering to acknowledge and celebrate reconciliation in the Bicentennial Hall, instead of the walk across the bridge and into the park.
The Bicentennial Hall is located at 253 Crawford Street. Please allow additional time to find parking before the event. Arrival is from 10 am.
Formal proceedings will take place from 10:30 am, including speeches from local dignitaries and celebrating the launch of Council’s new Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.
National Reconciliation Week runs from 27 May to 3 June 2026 and is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
