Join us for a guided walk along the Queanbeyan River and water bug search. Discover local plants, wildlife and tiny creatures living in the water, while learning more about the environment.

The length of the walk is 4.5 KM and it will be mostly on sealed pathways. We will meet at Glebe Park before walking along the river. Along the river, we will undertake the water bug search before returning to Glebe Park. Public toilets are available at the starting point.

Light lunch and snacks are included; we will cater for dietary requirements.

Free for ages 12-16

Please make sure to wear long pants and enclosed shoes, as snakes are more active in warmer weather.

Please bring a water bottle and sun hat.

The event is free but registrations are required
