  • Bulk earthworks completed January 2021
  • Four hard surface netball courts have been constructed, including lighting
  • Two turf fields have been installed, including lighting.
  • Main facility building, including public toilets, change rooms, kiosk, multi-use room, is complete
  • Sewer pump station installed
  • Power to site designed, approved and connected
  • Improved drainage and renovation of the sports fields
  • Bollards and ranger gates have been installed
  • Dug outs are installed
  • Tiered seating is secured on concrete slabs
  • Tender has been awarded for the design and construction of the netball pavilion building
  • Car park has been sealed
  • Solar lights order for car park
  • $2M funding was received from the Australian Government Investing in Our Communities program to construct:
    • netball facility building - tender awarded for design and construction to Wood and Co Living Pty Ltd - $777,089 (ex GST)
    • fencing
    • drainage
    • dugouts for playing fields
    • seating
    • solar panels
    • car park sealing
    • landscaping
    • pathways
    • preparing site for Men’s Shed.

Future stages:

  • The Bungendore Aquatic Centre is no longer planned to be built at the Bungendore Sports Hub. We are conducting a feasibility study to investigate building the proposed centre on the site of the current Bungendore Pool. Find out more on the Bungendore Aquatic Centre project page.
