Completed bridge across Halfway Creek Bungendore

The construction of new 13.6m long, 2 x lane concrete bridge with pedestrian pathway across Halfway Creek, Bungendore started in the week of 21 August 2023.

This bridge will provide access to the Bungendore Sports Hub and has now been completed with the road opening on 2 July 2024.

The following has been completed:

  • bridge deck
  • kerb and guttering are in place
  • road sealing has been completed
  • guardrail and handrail have been installed
  • approximately 40 trees planted as part of the "Planting Trees for The Queen's Jubilee Program"
  • line marking
  • footpath construction

This project was funded by the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure grant program.
