Friday 2 October- Open counter services will be closed across all three service centres. - The Nellie Hamilton Centre information counter will also be unmanned.- Phone services will still be available with limited staffing. Monday 5 October (Public Holiday)- All council facilities will be closed (including waste transfer stations).- Queanbeyan Waste Minimisation Centre will remain open.
The new bridge is a single-lane, like-for-like replacement. Bridge components were built offsite.
Bridge components were delivered to site and work on site began in July 2025.
A side track served as a detour during the work when the existing bridge was demolished.
The bridge was completed in October 2025.
