The Waste Minimisation Centre has officially sold out of mulch. Mulch products will no longer be available at the facility moving forward. Compost is still available to purchase.
Work will be undertaken to rehabilitate a section of Old Cooma Road from Fernleigh Drive to Burra Road. This work is funded by the Regional Roads Repair Program. Work is currently underway. Traffic controllers will be used for the duration of the works.
It will involve the rehabilitation of the road pavement, widening the existing pavement to 11m with a 9m seal, including a left turn lane into Burra Road. The intersection will also receive land and shoulder widening.
The ribbons that can be seen onsite at the moment mark the extent of works and areas of significant flora identified in the environmental studies.
