The replacement of the bridge is now complete and saw the replacement of the bridge over Back Creek on Wallaces Gap Road in Bendoura. The old crossing was a timber bridge that had come to the end of its life and was suffering from termite damage. The new bridge is resilient for future natural disasters. The project will also relocate the road into the correct road reserve.

The replacement bridge is a precast structure.

This project is funded by the NSW Government under the Fixing Country Bridges program.
