Project background

Stormwater on Henderson Road currently drains to an open channel within land owned by Transport for NSW. Council is responsible for the management of the easement, and the current arrangement has led to delays in maintenance and operational activities. This has led to stormwater issues for local properties.

To address these concerns, we are constructing a new stormwater main to redirect stormwater to an existing stormwater pipe. We are also installing a gross pollutant trap to improve stormwater quality.
