Resurfacing Asphalt Concrete Works 2025-26

We have engaged Patches Asphalt to conduct asphalt concrete resurfacing around the local government area. This work is taking place in June 2026.

The work will take place on the following locations and dates (subject to weather conditions):

Old Cooma Road / Fernleigh Drive, Googong intersection - 5 June, 7 am - 5 pm
Wallace Street / Coghill Street, Braidwood intersection - 9 June, 7 am - 5 pm. The intersection will be closed during the works, with detour signage in place.
Araluen Road, Braidwood around intersection with Cowper Street, 13 June, 7 am - 5 pm
Ryrie Street / Coghill Street, Braidwood intersection, 15-17 June, 7 am - 5 pm. The intersection will be closed during the works, with detour signage in place.
Wallace Street, Braidwood near the IGA, 18 June, 7 am - 5 pm. A lane closure will be in place.
Wallace Street Bus Stop/Parking Lane between Wilson Street and Park Lane, Braidwood, 18 June, 7 am - 5 pm. The lane will be closed during the works.
Gillamatong Lane, Braidwood - close to intersection with Araluen Road, 23 June, 7 am - 5 pm. A lane closure will be in place.
Baden Place, Karabar - 24 June, 7 am - 5 pm. The road will be closed during the works.
Butmaroo Causeways on Butmaroo Road - 25 June, 7 am - 5 pm. Brief road closures will need to be in place at the causeways.
Gibraltar Street, Bungendore from Butmaroo Street to Ellendon Street - date and work schedule to be confirmed, likely towards the end of June.
