We have a broken water main on Conway Street in Karabar. Reports are that it is a significant one in a challenging location beneath a concrete driveway. It will likely take until lunchtime or beyond to repair. Surrounding streets, particularly Beard St, will be affected.
New days and hours will soon be in place for our Waste Transfer Stations. Our busier transfer stations will be open longer and on more days. The changes make the hours more consistent across the transfer stations. All QPRC waste facilities will now be closed on NSW public holidays. Find out more about the new hours.
Waste Transfer Stations
Temporary disruptions to access through the Crawford/Monaro Street Intersection from Tuesday to Thursday this week. There will be intermittent periods where vehicles will not be able to cross the intersection. 20-30 minute delays can be expected during these times. Please avoid the intersection where possible and follow the directions of the traffic controllers
