Morisset Street looking back towards Collett Street

We are resurfacing a section of Morisset Street in Queanbeyan from 7pm to 6am over the nights of Wednesday 10 December to Friday 12 December, weather permitting.

Morisset Street will be closed between Crawford Street and Carinya Street for the works. The works are being done at night to minimise the impact to the road network.

Drivers will be able to cross Morisset Street at the intersection with Crawford Street but will not be able to access the roundabout at the intersection of Morisset Street and Collett Street.

Drivers who approach the roundabout from the southern side of Collett Street will be diverted into the Riverside Plaza car park to turn around.

Please make sure your vehicle is not parked on the street during this period.

Roadwork is a noisy and dirty business. We do all we can to minimise the impact, but appreciate your cooperation and patience while we aim to complete the work as quickly as possible.

We expect to return to line mark this section on 23 December, weather permitting.
