Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is proud to offer our Local Heritage Places Grants again with the support of the NSW Heritage Office.
These grants support residents who are completing works to preserve their heritage buildings – whether it’s minor upgrades, a fresh coat of paint, or something bigger!
Last year four applicants received funding for their projects including roof replacements and exterior painting.
‘This grant program allows us to support people in our community who are working hard to preserve heritage homes in our region,’ said Rebecca Ryan, Council’s General Manager.
‘The grants work on a dollar-for-dollar model where successful applicants can receive up to 50% of the cost of eligible works.’
‘Lots of different work can be eligible under this program so take the time to read the grant guidelines before beginning your next project,’ she added.
Applications for the 2024-25 round are open until Sunday 27 October and can be completed online.
