Here's the summary of resolutions made at the 27 April 2022 Ordinary Meeting of Council:

  • Council heard from two members of the public who are making presentations about matters on the agenda
  • A subdivision Development Application for 47 Torrens Title residential lots; 2 lots for public reserves; and the creation of a public laneway at 10 Elkhorn Road, Tralee has been granted conditional approval
  • Council awarded the tenderer for construction of additional amenities and change rooms at Karabar Netball Courts to Ausco Modular for the lump sum of $520,732.77
  • Council deferred endorsement of the Queanbeyan-Palerang Community Strategic Plan 2042 to further consider public submissions made during the period of public consultation
  • Council adopted an amended Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Policy. The update addresses improvement opportunities identified in the 2021 HSEQ Triennial Audit.
  • Council received the investment report for March 2022, noting return was -$114,433
  • Council endorsed the draft Delivery Program 2022-26 and Operational Plan 2022-23 for public exhibition. They are available for comment at: https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au/
  • Council adopted the draft 2022-23 Revenue Policy and draft Fees and Charges for public exhibition. They are available for comment at: https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au/    
  • Council received an information report summarising Road Renewal and Maintenance Activities for the third quarter of 2021/22
  • Council received an evaluation report for the 2022 Music by the River event held on 26 February 2022 and extended a vote of thanks to Council organising staff
  • Council received a report noting Councillor workshops from 7 to 20 April 2022
  • Council received the Local Traffic Committee Meeting Minutes - 5 April 2022
  • In closed session Council reaffirmed the 27 October 2021 endorsement of the Deed of Agreement for the Googong Sports Club, endorsed the revised lease agreement, and authorised the CEO to execute the documents
