  • Council agrees to the letter of offer from the developers of the Blind Creek Solar Farm and will place the Planning Agreement on public exhibition and will be live later today at https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au
  • Council agrees to support the Queanbeyan District Cricket Club in securing an agreement between Cricket NSW, QPRC and the Club to host the NSW U18s Country Colts Championships for 2022-23 and 2023-24 and will allocate up to $4,000 for hosting of the event
  • Council approves Category B venue hire donations for 2022-23 totalling $34,702.52, a Cultural Grant of $1,500 for the Braidwood Youth Performing Arts Association Inc. and $667.16 for the Paint Club Creative Kids in Queanbeyan
  • Council will place the Street Banners and Sails, Media, and Public Interest Disclosures – Internal Reporting Policies on public exhibition for 28 days at https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au
  • Council receives the investment report for June 2022, noting return of -$701,022
  • Council receives report on annual Food Act enforcement activity and will write to the appropriate NSW Minister asking them to investigate the possibility of accepting ACT based training as acceptable certification for Food Safety Supervisors in NSW
  • Council notes quarterly report on road renewal and maintenance activities
  • Council notes report on trial agreement with the Australian Wind Symphony at the Bicentennial Hall
  • Council receives report on councillor workshops between 7-20 July incl: future direction for library services, road/street naming, draft Integrated Water Cycle Management Plan and Qbn STP business case, land acquisition North Elmslea Reservoir, policies for review
  • In closed session, Council awarded tender, subject to confirmation of additional funds from Bendigo Bank and Braidwood Showground s355 Committee, to JRC Electrical Services Pty Ltd for the $888,939.33 Braidwood Showground Lights and Power Upgrade
  • In closed session, Council awarded tender for slope remediation at three sites on Araluen Road to Dale and Hitchcock Civil Pty Ltd for $1,935,446
