We have a leak at Bulloak Street in East Queanbeyan that requires urgent repairs. Water will be turned off in the street while the repairs take place. This may also affect surrounding streets. Repairs could take a few hours.
We’ve received reports of discoloured water in various locations across Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra and Googong recently. First and foremost, we want to assure you that the water supply meets Australian Drinking Water Guidelines and is safe to drink. We are flushing water mains and working with Icon Water to investigate further.
New days and hours will soon be in place for our Waste Transfer Stations. Our busier transfer stations will be open longer and on more days. The changes make the hours more consistent across the transfer stations. All QPRC waste facilities will now be closed on NSW public holidays. Find out more about the new hours.

Council has received enquiries about advertising packages in the “Queanbeyan-Palerang Region Development Application Pack”. These packages are being developed by a private commercial entity. The printing business print advertising packages which are sent to those who submit development applications.
Businesses are free to choose the way they advertise, but these packs are not collated or published by or for Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council.
