The Queanbeyan Animal Management Facility will only be open 3-5pm from 22 - 26 April due to staff availability.
The pound is also closed on Anzac Day (25 April).
We will return to our usual opening hours on Saturday. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Tarago Road showing road before work starts on Stage 1

We have received $3m from the NSW Government for rehabilitation and repair works on damaged sections of Tarago Road.

We will be targeting the worst sections of Tarago Road, with shoulder widening, rehabilitation and heavy patching.

Completed work

Stage 1 was a 2km section starting just south of Mount Fairy Road and heading north on Tarago Road. It was completed in October 2023.
Stage 1 included road realignment, pavement rehabilitation, stormwater improvements and guardrail.
