  • Council heard from eight members of the public who made presentations about items on the agenda including naming of QCCP and Public Spaces; Jerrabomberra Pump Track; - Captains Flat Foxlow Parklet and Heritage matters; and Heritage Funding for Braidwood.
  • Council granted consent to variation of the QPRLEP and granted conditional consent to a development application at 1076 Neringla Road, Neringla
  • An item regarding a road name for a portion of road in Bombay was withdrawn and will be represented to a future Council meeting
  • Council endorsed the following Ngambri and Ngunnawal names for the QCCP and public spaces: Nellie Hamilton Centre, Malunggang Walk, Djara Gardens and Onyong Park and will place proposed names on public exhibition for 28 days at https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au
  • Council endorsed the draft QPRC Cemeteries Strategic Plan and will place it on public exhibition for 28 days at https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au
  • Council will place the Mobile Food Vending Policy on public exhibition for 28 days at https://yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au
  • Council endorsed a signed funding agreement from the Australian Government’s Investing in Our Community Program for the Bungendore Sports Hub Stage 2 Project for $2m and will amend the budget as required
  • Council will review short-listed sites for the Jerrabomberra Pump Track, David Madew Oval and Stockyard Reserve, in terms of suitability for location and design, consult with current user groups and stakeholders and provide further report on site and design of track
  • Council will allocate $1,527,709 of Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Phase 4 to the road stabilisation works in the 2023-24 Operational Plan
  • Council received questions with notice about Foxlow Parklet in Captains Flat
  • Council received questions with notice about fencing around Bungendore Park and Common
  • Council will write to relevant NSW Government Ministers requesting that prior to demolition of any heritage-listed item in Captains Flat, a Conservation Management Plan or similar document is developed for the Captains Flat mine site
  • Council will write to Heritage NSW and NSW Minister for Environment and Heritage, the Hon Penny Sharpe MLC, requesting that the NSW Government allocate funding to restore level of heritage advice available to Council prior to 2019 funding cut
  • Council will publicly report greenhouse gas emissions data for the Community Action Plan as soon as practical after LGA emissions data becomes available including emissions data, progress towards targets, breakdown of sector contributions
  • In closed session, Council awarded tender for Design Aquatic Centre – Sports Hub Bungendore to Mode Design for $592,075 incl GST
